Art Colouring Book

 Hello Fellow Bloggers,

Today we had to join the " Summer Learning Journey " Program. So we had to do a teaser activate. Our teaser activate was to colour a picture. The thing thing that I learnt was that I got to go on a fun website and I am exited to do the summer learning journey. The thing that I enjoyed was that we had to colour a cool photo. The thing that I found interesting was that even years 6 have to do the summer learning journey even though we are graduating. But I am still exited about the summer learning journey program. I picked the same colours because I wanted it to look same. I have a challenge for you!!! Can you guess which one is mine and this is the link to the website we used. ( Art Colouring Book )

Hope you guess it right. Let me know which one you picked in the comments below.

My Remarkable Advert Making

 Hello Fellow Bloggers,

For this weeks cybersmart activities Phil gave us a task. We had to create an advert that represents our school. So we had to get in a group and make an advert. In my group was Mapa,Paul,Anthony,See-me and Daniel. The part that I enjoyed was we got to represent our school. The thing that I learned was that adverts are there to only attract people. The thing that I found interesting, was that we got to participate in something like this. The hard part was that, we had to use our school motto which is...

Value yourself

Value your learning

Respect all others.

Hope you enjoy

My Unbelievable Lunch Time Actives ( 3 )

Hello Fellow Bloggers, Today we did another maths problem which again is going to blow your guys minds 🤯🤯 since it is so mind blowing and cool. Today's maths problem is about time. You have to tell how much time do PE monitors get everyday in a week while they do PE because PE is the whole week long. The thing that I enjoyed was working with my buddy and trying to solve the problem. What I learned is that most of these problem need to include Time tables.

The thing that I found interesting was working out the answer to this problem. I have worked hard on this and I hope you enjoy it.

My Unsolvable Lunch Time Maths

Hello Fellow Bloggers, Today's blog post is going to completely blow you guys minds 🤯 since you need a big brain to do it. Today we did maths and we had to solve something about time.

The thing that I enjoyed was working with my friends and doing maths after a long time because of COVID 19. The thing that I found interesting was that how the answer would be 2 hours and 50 mins because my answer was 2 hours and 10 mins but it was still fun. What I learned I got to think before I speak. The part that I found hard was trying to solve this equation but my friends were there to help me. This took a long time to solve but we got 💯%.

Hope you enjoy

Big Brain Maori Games That Teach Something

Hello Fellow Bloggers, This blog post is going to blow your guys minds 🤯🤯 when you read this. This week we had learn about games that teach kids. We had to read a book which told us how kids got taught back in the old. The book was called " Maori Games ".

The thing that I Enjoyed was finding thing about these games and writing about them. The thing that I found interesting was that games could teach people in the old day, but now they don't. The thing that I learnt are the games that Maori people use to play. The thing that I found hard was trying to write the words of the games. I think my next learning steps might be that we may play the games. It took me a long time to do this so I hope you enjoy it.

My Extra Ordinary Pick A Path ( Clock Edition )

Hello Fellow bloggers, Welcome back to a new blog post from me. This week we had to create a pick a path. If you don't know what a pick a path is then allow me to tell you. A pick a path is where there are two options to pick from. One of them is right and one is wrong. If you pick the right one then Yay but if you pick the wrong one then bad for you. We had to learn about the clock for maths and when we had learned about clocks and time then we were allowed to make a game about the things that you learned about the clock.

The part that I enjoyed was making the pick a path because it was fun and cool. The thing that I found interesting was that the clock counts by 5. like the 1 is actually 5 mins past in a clock. but if you see very carefully then you can see tiny lines that are the mins that don't 5 but count in numbers like they present 1234 and the 5 in big but presented as 1. I learned that a decade has ten years a century has 100 years and a millennium has 1000 years ( WOW ). The thing I found hard was making 14 slides and add lots of making.

My Fantastic instructions of how to play the Game Ki-o-rahi

 Hello fellow bloggers,

Last week we had to read a book that was called " Rahi and the Patupaiarehe ". This book was fun to read because of how at the end they created a game called... ( you are going to find out later what its called ). We had a bunch of actives to do for that book like creating a flow diagram ( some thing that shows the whole story but bit by bit. It feels like you are writing a chapter book). And lots more but we don't need to talk about that.

We had to create instruction on how to play the game that was previously mentioned. I enjoyed learning about this game and how it was invented by being friends with enemies and play that game together. I learned that the Patupaiarehe are actually fairy people that live in the forest. The game I am writing about is called Ki-o-rahi. What is found hard was that was to get so much information about the game and learning about what the teams do. My next learning steps might be playing the game.

Hope you enjoy and play the game.

My awesome Time I am having in Tongan language week

Hello fellow bloggers, Today is the last day of Tongan language week but yesterday we went to Roser house and created Tongan fans that we had been working on from Tuesday. When we went there Lora and Salome were waiting for us. They helped us put our fans together like adding decorations and adding a stick so you could hold it. What I enjoyed was colouring the fans and we even had to curl Teki which is what Tongan boys/ men wear and I enjoyed that to. I learned that the the most respected churches our circled around the kings grave. The thing I found hard was curling the Teki because we were curling paper. Here are some photos of me curling it. I think the next thing we are going to learn is what kind of cloths that they wear and how they make it.

Hope you enjoyed

The awesome shapes I made with my friends

Hello fellow bloggers, yesterday and the before that was we were working on 3D ( 3 Dimensional ) and 2D ( 2 Dimensional ) shapes. This is what I know about the 2D and the 3D shapes is that 2D shapes are flat and 3D shapes stand up. We had to do the nets of a shape and the shape we got was a rectangular prism ( rectangle ) so we had to draw how it will like like when we unfold it our take it apart. I enjoyed the part where we had to draw and predict how it will look like when it is open. I learned that the D that is after the stands for Dimensional. The thing I found hard was trying to make a replica of the box we got but with paper. Here is 2 of the photos and this is how the paper one look liked compered to the box.

Finding shapes

Hello fellow bloggers, This week we had to find shapes in a Tongan Kupesi Patterns. I had found 8 shapes and it was really fun. I enjoyed trying to find the shapes. I found some interesting shapes like Parallelogram. I learned that it might look easy but when you do it your self then it is challenging and I learned that because I did that when I did this, boy I regret saying it was easy. What I found challenging was finding the shapes and writing their names. these are the shapes I found. If you find any shapes then tell me.

Hope you enjoy

Danger, Volcanoes Are Here

Hello fellow Bloggers, this week we have been learning about volcanoes. If you don't know what magma chambers are then here is an example so volcano chambers are were the magma is for a long time and when a volcano erupts then the magma comes out of the magma chamber. But Auckland volcanoes don't have any magma chamber's now so they don't erupt again. In Auckland there around 53 volcanoes. Some of the volcanoes have erupted. Here is my writing about volcanoes.

Hope you enjoy.

The awesome Info about the Moriori

Hello fellow bloggers this week we had to write a infographic about the Moriori people.
Rēkohu then some European people came on a ship and said to the Morior that " this land is now king the 3 and this is going to be called Chatham island. I enjoyed that when after some people had.... the NZ people gave the Moriori people 6 million dollars for them. I learned that sometimes not always one law works. It was interesting to find out that the Moriori people are actually Polynesians.

My awesome second side of a shape

Hello fellow bloggers 2 days ago me and My friends made a shape and we made one half of the shape. So we could make the other half on our Chromebooks and I made the other half. I enjoyed making the shapes by poly line because some of the shapes were not there. I learned that you never give up because you can even make something that you want. It was challenging to make the shapes by hand because I had so many try's to make a shape. this was my blog post.

Hope you enjoy

The Ancient law of Nunuku

Hello Fellow bloggers, I am back with another blog post.  This week we had been reading about some people called the Moriori. The Moriori people are really just Polynesians that came to NZ (New Zealand) as settlers ( Travellers ) in 1500 . In 1835 the Moriori people were invaded by the tribes of NZ that came to their Land Rekohu ( Chatham island ). So the mighty Nunuku made a law and that law was to bring.... ( Wait for the DLO to see what the law was about ).  I enjoyed finding the info for this law and reading the  book. I learned that sometimes you have to break law to keep some thing  and that is what Nunuku didn't do so he lost his... It was challenging to find some of the information for this. it was interesting to find out that they were separated form the main land of...

Hope you enjoy. If  you like Nunuku's law then comment.
