the lorax

this week we have read a story called the lorax and we had to write about the lorax ( story ) but happening in real life. I enjoyed writing this and finding the images. it was interesting to know that the trees are dying. I learned that nature is more important then money. I enjoyed reading this and hope you have fun reading this as well.

over fishing

This week we had to write or do this for our work. This shows where the country's fish with net and over fish. This map shows it to us. I enjoyed putting all the arrows around. It was interesting to find out that China fish's all over the world. I learned that there is a sea called Mediterranean sea. I had fun doing this and I hope you have fun seeing this.

Atlantis

This week we had to write a story about a city that has been flooded ( not real story ). I enjoyed writing about it. It was in interesting seeing the photo of what we were going to writing about. I learned new words like top to there heels which means ran. I enjoyed writing this and I hope you enjoy reading this.

Atlantis

2 years ago a beautiful city called New York City was a busy city at that time. People were Driving normally. People were walking around on the paths. You can hear the dogs barking you can hear the car honking. It was noisy . There were tall buildings and hotels. Some kids were walking to school with their friends.  A lot of adults are going to work rushing, running. It was busy. For that city it was completely normal to be that busy and rushing around. One day 2 kids were walking to school and saw something rising………..

It was a big wave of water. The kids said, “ wow “. The kids' names were Luke and Jake. Luke was shocked and Jake was just taking photos. After some time everybody realised that a wave was coming for them. Everybody was scared and did not know what to do. Everybody took to their heels  . Luke told Jake to stop taking photos but Jake did not listen until……….

The wave struck one of the buildings and the building went down. The water splashed onto the people and made them wet. Jake stopped taking photos and ran Luke ran too because the wave was close to them. The water was rising and rising and rising. You could see the sea animals. You could see a diver trying to survive but he could not. People kept running and some people went inside buildings and houses until……..’;

BANG .
People thought that another wave smacked into a building but it did not. This time it broke a park and a house and even a birthday party at that house. Luke and Jake went crazy and did not know what to do until someone came in a car and told them to get in. Luke and Jake  jumped into the car. The driver pressed his foot on the gas the car drove at 200miles p/h. The driver was the diver who was in the water. Luke and Jake were shocked. Luke said to Jake that,``What the heck. How did you get out?”. The diver did not say anything. The wave was across the whole city the cars were flooded with water. The people who were outside had to go inside the buildings but all the buildings people were saying on the intercom said PLEASE GO TO THE TOPMOST FLOOR I REPEAT GO TO THE TOPMOST FLOOR. Every building was saying that on the intercom. Luke was still in shock that he passed out and jake took photos of him and posted in on Instagram and he wrote, “ My friend passed out #Please help. lol.” the diver dropped them on the cites most tallest
building which had a alarm going crazy but it was the safest place to go the diver jumped in at the right time into the building and closed the door then ran to the topmost floor and did not come back down. Until…….

 There were 2 BANGS at once that was to hotels went down and they were called holiday inn hotels. Some people were suffocating from the water inside the building. But Luke and Jake survived, including  the diver. The diver introduced himself and said, “ Hi my name is Carol and I was just scuba diving until the wave came and got me. I got scared and tried to run but I could not. After a couple of seconds the wave got me. But I did not lose hope I tried to get out and I did and that is how I survived !.” Luke woke up and saw the diver and fainted and passed out again Jake took a photo and posted it on Instagram but this time he wrote, “ good news and bad news Luke wake up Luke fainted # help again”. Jake was happy until…….

A turtle BANGED into the window. Jake said,” save the turtles save the turtles “. Luke wakes up and says…….

how to be sun smart

This week we learned about how to be sun smart. I relay enjoyed doing this. 

It was interesting to know that that slip slop slap seek and slide relay is a thing. I learned that there are 2 types of sun screen. One SPF 30 and one SPF 50 and SPF 30 lasts for 30 mins and SPF 50 lasts for 150 mins . this was fun to do. It will be more fun if you read it

Down the rabbit hole

This week we had to make a story about how Alicia was feeling when she was falling down the rabbit hole. I enjoyed writing about it. It was interesting to find out that eternity is a real word. I learned new words like decent. It was fun writing about this and I hope you have fun reading it.

Down the rabbit hole

There was once a girl called Lynda and she was 8 years old. one day she was walking in the zoo. She came across a rabbit hut. She decided to go inside.  She did not care about the rules she just went in. When she was inside, Lynda saw a hole in the middle of the rabbit hut. She put her feet to check . as she did that she got sucked into the hole, she screamed like a lion that was roaring because she was falling. She kept falling down and down and down. She was falling for eternity. She did not know when she was going to land. She was confused. She was thinking this has to be a dream. It can’t be real Until……….

She saw land. she thought she was going to die until she saw a mattress she tried to land there.
As soon as she landed on the mattress she saw a…..
Potion that was blue and had a label that said “drink me please”. Lynda looked at it and then  said “ o my what will happen to me will I shrink or get a moustache or even a pimple what should do now”. She drank the potion. She touched her whole face to check. Then  she said “ goo den's god I am safe” . After 5 mins she felt herself shrinking she said’ O my what is happening to me what should I do now”. When she was an inch tall she looked up she thought there was no way up there. After some time she started walking. She walked and walked and walked until…….

She saw a doorway leading to somewhere but she needed a key to open the door. She went looking for the key but she found a mini golf pack and other weird stuff. After some time she saw a table that had a golden key on the top of it. Lynda said to herself that” o my that is very tall. How will I get there?”.  She looked around and around until………

She found another potion that had a label as well that said in a beautiful writing that said “drink me”. Lynda thought to herself “ what will happen to me now because last time I shrank what will happen now will I grow taller or have a pimple on my face”. She drank it. After a couple of minutes she felt herself getting taller and taller and taller until she touched the roof. Now she can descend to the key. When she grabbed the key she tried to open the door. When she reached the keyhole and opened the door she could not get in it because she was tall. She started crying. She cried and cried and cried. In front of her was a river of tears.. She kept crying until…………

She heard someone say “ what is this mockery, why is there river here ?”. She hid behind a wall for some time until  she saw a rabbit. The rabbit was wearing a spy suit. She decided to show herself. The rabbit gasped and took heavy breaths. She started to introduce herself, she said “Hi my name is Lynda and I am 8”. The rabbit said “ you big thing how did you get here and how are you that tall?”. The rabbit was curious about her. Lynda starts to go crazy because she saw a rabbit talk . After some time the rabbit says something that even Lynda did not even understand. Lynda feels the ground shaking it was like a rock was falling but it was not. It was just a lot of animals running towards Lynda and the rabbit. After when the animals were a couple meters away from hitting them they stopped. The rabbit said to Lynda” excuse me dear” Lynda moved away. It seemed to Lynda that they were all just citizens of the hole or something like that. The rabbit said “this girl has done this to our world. Brother-ens what shall we do to her?’..........

1990 to 2020 school different

last week we had to write about the differences in 1990 to 2020 about what has changed . I really  enjoyed finding out the differences. I learned that in 1990 there were more classes then 2020. It was interesting that how big the differences there is. I had  fun writing it and I hope you have fun reading it.

comparing two events

For reading we had to compare two events. I learned about that that somethings can be different . I enjoyed finding out about these things. It was interesting to know that our school fire was a mystery and the other one was fire works. For this we will had to compare the two fire. One on the 2009 fire and May Road School and what happened at the 1990 fire.
