I'm Leslie and I'm a member of the Summer Learning Journey team, reading your blog from home in Canada. I live on the opposite side of the world from you and yet I can also participate in this program. Isn't that cool?
I'm glad that you've decided to participate in this program. Good for you!! I see that you've watched the video on air pollution. You're right that pollution can be man-made or can come about naturally, particularly in the form of forest fires that are started by lightening storms. And, certainly, cars are a big source of pollution for our air.
I try to walk to do my errands around town, as much as possible. It helps if we all do our best to reduce the amount of time we spend driving in cars. Of course, sometimes people have to drive to get to work or school and a car is the only way. Perhaps electric cars will prove to be a good alternative to cars that use gas. What do you think? They're a bit expensive for many of us right now, but perhaps their cost will come down in the future.
I hope you're enjoying these Summer Learning Journey activities. I'll enjoy reading more of your blog!
Hi there Garv Great to see you are working on your Summer Learning Journey. I hope you are enjoying the learning you are doing on this site. Can you tell us what pollution is and how cars, fire and humans make this pollution?
Good Work Garv Keep It Up
